With this one taking place in the semi-finals of Euro 2024, that now means Spain vs France is one of only three fixtures to take place at each stage of a World Cup and European Championship.
The other two fixtures? I’m going to give you 30 minutes to come up with those yourself before revealing the answer.
Hello and welcome again to our Euro 2024 live coverage — specifically, the first semi-final in Germany, as the style and swagger of Spain meets a grizzly, impenetrable France in Munich.
As you’ll have seen play out a few times now, it’s the usual 90 minutes — then extra time and a penalty shootout if required — to find our first finalist for Sunday in Berlin.
Tomorrow then sees Netherlands tackle England in Dortmund to join them.

These teams are no strangers to a high-profile meeting as they have already faced each other on five occasions at major tournaments.
France won the first three, the fourth was drawn and Spain were victorious in their most recent battle at Euro 2012.
